Draught in Leeds. Clean gold with a full frothy head. Aroma of larger malts. Flavour is crisp bitter, citrus notes on a bread malt finish. Goes very well with the food there.

Draft in Leeds. Clear orange with a medium head. Aroma of Mandarin citrus. Flavour is orange hop, light bitter fruits. Tangy fruit base.

Sign of the times beer - £9 a pint for a just over 5% craft in 2026. Will seem the norm soon!. Hazy pale golden in colour, fuller-bodied tropical fruit is also the norm here in both aroma and taste.

Final beer afterthought after visiting the Stockport Beer Festival earlier. Amber-brown, but the latter is king here. It looks dark but has a creamy-hoppy character, coming across quite soft textured. The darker red ale styling is there, and more than evident, but not dominant. Decent hopped darker one though.

Keg draught at Bundobust Brewery, Manchester. Light gold and clear with a an uneven foamy white head. Light aroma of grains, gluey resin, malty notes. Taste is sweet and resinous, some corn, with a much more bitter finish. Light body with heavy but not intrusive carbonation. Fairly typical lager but done to a high standard.

ChaChaCha is the backing vocals for the song 'Joe Le Taxi'. A near black stout, with gritty enough roasted malts, but some chocolate also produces a gentle sweetness for this appealing, quite regular in design stout, didn't really get the chai influence.

I've encountered the Shona people whilst travelling through Zimbabwe. Very hazy yellow-gold coloured brew. Nice and crisp-hoppy with sweet tropical fruit and pine breaking to through, which is at its best in aroma.
