Pint at Bundobust Brewery, Manchester. OK with the food but served far too cold.

A suitably named festive beer, in Hindi. Deeper golden west coast appearance and styling, with quite a lot of sugary hoppiness available.

I genuinely can't believe they've made 400 brews given I've checked their output consistently since their Inception and have only missed a handful I've ever seen advertised. Dank cloudy golden coloured with a small head. Its texture suggests DIPA, but it doesn't feel its strength and in terms of taste everything feels quite neutral and disappointing for it. There's not a great deal going on in this one apart from a hint of sugary-tropical fruit late in its aftertaste. Some tropical aroma too.

This post beer train home's delay was caused by "A Problem with Trackside Equipment". Hazy pale golden. No problem here with an excellent drinking texture for its strength, which is very crisp. Has understated tropical fruits in both aroma and taste for this, but still very good.

Doop by Doop was a UK number 1 single back in 1994. Hazy paler golden in colour, its head elevates things a touch. Not a classic wheat by any means, but the Huell Melon hops do provide a distinctive flavour for this one including melon and celery.

A very sweet stout based on an Indian delicatessy, and you can really taste it, so a dedication beer to Rajinder Puri, Indian cartoonist, born on this day in 1934. Lots of stout character, good pastry notes despite the sweet tag. Quite rich too, so I'd probably not want too much in one go. Fine brewing here though.

The significant moment Piggy holds the Conch in Lord Of The Flies, won't be lost on those with a UK education. Hazy paler golden, it's suitably tropical and soft textured, so despite its sweetness, it's not sticky. Excellent brew.
