Cask from Coach and Horses Dronfield - Deep darkest chestnut body, solid white head. Nose has small roasty and nutty notes, burnt toffee. Taste as expected malt forward, smooth and feels a lot richer in the mouthfeel than the usual milds.

Keg @ Bundobust, Manchester. Hazy darker brown and quite fruity, making its dark malt character more an appearance than in taste.

Keg @ Bundobust Brewery, Manchester before watching Pigs x 7 at Albert Hall. Pours amber with a light mist, good white head. Aroma is malty with some marmalade fruit. Medium body, firm bitterness but not hugely fruity.. expected more Idaho 7 hop expression, but still pleasantly sweet, fairly malty overall. Ok.

Keg @ Bundobust Brewery, Manchester before watching Pigs x 7 at Albert Hall. Pours dark with a creamy mocha beige head. Aroma of general chai spice, mild vanilla with distant ginger hints, continues to taste, smooth almost creamy texture with chocolate malts and soft roast. Decent, but the spices could be more prominent.

Keg @ Bundobust Brewery before watching Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs at the Albert Hall. Pours dark, thin off-white head. Aroma has mild pine, soft roast. Taste presents a rather mild Black IPA, low hop presence, soft roast, cola.. think the spice of my food either killed the hoppiness, or its just a mild BIPA. A fine sipper either way.

Keg at Deya Taproom. Clear, very dark brown, with a beige head. Aroma of roasty chocolatey malts. Taste is the same, roast malts, dark chocolate, coffee like bitterness. Light-medium bodied.

Deep brown, near black, with a creamy beige head and a hint of spice mixed in with roasted malt on the nose. You're expecting a tea vibe, and there is some, along with maybe vanilla, but it's mostly a very enjoyable moderately rich roasted malt flavour, with some chocolate and coffee notes and a slightly bitter finish
