From a 500l can on 7/11/2021. Pours a murky golden with a medium head which disappears quickly. Has a light citrus fruit nose. The citrus is much more pronounced on the sip - lots of orange and mandarin, medium sweet with a big tangy finish with the tiniest touch of hop burn. Has a slightly creamy palate but it doesn't scream oat cream to me. The carbonation is average. Not bad, but not great for a Banks.

From a 500ml can on 12/10/2021. Pours a slightly opaque light golden with a medium head. Smells of citrus and light pine. Tastes fruity - citrus and some light tropical notes, against a bready malt background. Finishes with quite a firm bitterness, with a good dash of grapefruit, but not much in the way of resin or pine. Not typically WC for mine in terms of colour, nose, malt or overall character but still really impressive and quite singular stylistically. Full bodied with moderate carbonation. Excellent.

From a 355ml can on 5/10/2021. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a small head.Smells lightly fruity. Tastes very sweet and tropical with a real fruit lolly feel. Has alight tangy bitterness at the back, a creamy mouthfeel and average carbonation. I'm a big Banks fan but this one falls a bit flat for me. By no means terrible, but lacking something and a touch cloying.

From a 500ml can on 28/9/2021. Pours dark brown with a smallish head. Smells of caramel, nuts and cookie dough. Presents super sweet - the advertised salted caramel, macadamia and vanilla, along with chocolate fudge. Finishes with a mild roasty bitterness, which provides just enough contrast. Fairly easy to drink but the 10.6% is no real surprise. The mouthfeel is slick and syrupy, the carbonation moderate. A very enjoyable dessert sipper, but only for fans of ultra sweet stuff.

From a 500ml can on 12/9/2021. Pours a murky light golden with a medium head. The nose is dank and fruity with some slight herbal notes. Tastes of tangy orange, tangelo and peach, which carries through to a slightly spicy warming finish. The mouthfeel is slick, the carbonation just a touch prickly. Unusual but enjoyable.

From a 500ml can on 8/9/2021. Pours a deep brown with a small tan head. Has a gorgeous strong fresh coffee beans nose. Not surprisingly, coffee also dominates the taste, with a tick above medium milk chocolate sweetness in the middle, which is finished a light roasty bitterness. The mouthfeel is slick, the carbonation softish. Beautifully put together. If coffee beers are your thing, you won't be disappointed.

From a 500ml can on 1/9/2021. Pours a hazy light golden with a medium head. The nose features lots of ripe tropical fruit. Tastes of pineapple, passion fruit, banana and melon, with a light bitterness which finishes with a light tang. Full bodied, with a silky mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. A very tasty and easy drinking big hazy.

A nice passionfruit, cut grass, bread and pine aroma is let down by a thin palate and a one- dimensional taste.

Growler. Opaque camel with a white head. Smells like Citra - which is indeed King. OtOH lactose in IPAs is lachrymose. Grapefruit, herbal Meyer lemon, slight menthol edge. Taste is sweet with oranges more prominent and a slight earthy and pithy astringency before a slightly bitter finish.

Can. Pale gold with a white head. Promising bready aroma with spices and some lemon. Satisfyingly full textured bready malt is clean and brief with modest lightly spiced bitterness at the end. I'd like a bit more of the hops, but this is a more than solid pils.
