Bottleshare at CBJ,, thanks to the team. Near opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Palate is smooth and viscous, decent fine carbonation. Savoury dark malts, rich dark chocolate but the vanilla intersects to form some milk chocolate. Good spicy rye ripe fruits with a pleasing bitterish edge. Tangy rye bitter spicy linger. Good stuff, lacks the sumptuous sweetness of some other HS Impies, but enjoying the boozy rye richness and bitterness.
