Description
Hidden Springs Ales Works is a craft brewery in the greater Tampa Heights neighborhood just north of down town Tampa.
We were born from the minds of Joshua Garman and Austin Good (two local guys who loved to brew), and we joined the neighborhood in September of 2015. Yellow Brick Row has become our home away from home, and we hope that it is your’s as well. So, swing by the Tasting Room, find yourself a seat, and enjoy one of our beers. There’s always room for more at the bar.

22 oz. bottle, pours jet black with a tiny beige head. Aroma is complex and pastry-rific, with plenty of coffee, marshmallow, a hint of cherry, and a subtle bourbon barrels. Flavour is wonderfully complex, with big marshmallow, gentle coffee, some bourbon, and vanilla. A bit too marshmallow-centric, but there’s good integration here. Very tasty.

22oz (thx, Brian S.!) @ Ryan's.
Aroma: very nice mix of smores and coffee, kinda MT level of integration.
Taste: along the same lines with cherries nicely adding to the overall mix.
Overall: very good job done here, for sure.

Dark brown. The aroma has a lot of vanilla, and some cinnamon. On the palate, lots of chocolate, vanilla, and it's quite sweet. The cherry accent is an interesting.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Very dark brown with almost no beige head. Nice integration of flavours - feint cherry, graham cracker, marshmallow, light coffee and chocolate on the finish. Could have a touch more body, but quite nice.

650mL bottle. Pours very dark brown with a minimal head. Cocoa, marshmallows, coffee, and graham crackers on the nose. Flavour has chocolate, maraschino cherry, marshmallows, some coffee, and a nice bourbon barrel finish. This comes together pretty well, loads of adjuncts, probably too much marshmallow, but nice overall.

Can. A light haze on this apricot colour beer, a bubbly pale apricot colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, a good fine minerally crispness. Thin bodied pale malts provide a mild sweet backdrop against the light and pleasant tartness. Candyish grape but also slightly tart. Low level peanut, nicely judged, any more would be too much in my book. Black berry fruits fit in well and come through on the back end. Nicely done. Different and pretty quaffable.
