Can. Misted amber, a cm of white head. Yes, very Kiwi hop aroma with gooseberries, under-ripe tropical fruit, breadcrust. A burst of fruity flavours and a little resin gives way briefly to gentle bread before firmish bitterness. Good and very nicely balanced.

Can. Pale amber with a loose white head. Aroma of lemon leaves, oranges, light breadcrust, pine needles. First whiff was a bit too green but it clears. Quite lemony with a lean towards both leaves and cleaning products. Dryish but a little crust on the bread before a fairly punchy bitter finish.

375ml can into glass. From South Melbourne Markets. Pours a pale amber with very light carbonation and a large solid foamy head. Slight haze. Nose is biscuity and fruity. Some patchy lacing. Nice bitter grapefruit with a lingering bitter lemon finish, a little background malt balances everything out. Very nice APA, very easy to drink.

Canvent. Almost clear gold with a white head that settles to a cm. Aroma of peach, mandarin, papaya, crackers. Punchier upon a taste with sharper citrus and a little pine. Dryish at the bitter end. Fair enough.

From a 375ml can on 25/6/2023. Pours a clear lightish amber with a smallish head. Has a nose that features a good dash of caramel and some citrus. Tastes of caramel, sweet orange and toast, with a firm hop finish which features grapefruit and resin. Medium bodywith average carbonation. Has lots of character and flavour. A very good little hoppy red.

Can. Brownish amber with a good cm of beige head. Aroma of sticky breadcrust, grapefruit, some prunes, spices. Quite a lot of caramel flavour but avoids being either heavy or really sweet and the citrus and spice that lead to a fairly bitter finish don't seem to jolt. Satisfying but not too hearty.

Can. Black with a good coat of tan head. Aroma of roast, blackberries, dark sugars, some mocha. So it tastes. Not very sweet with prominent roast, supporting rich malt flavours, firm bitterness. Not much of a rumbling bottom end. Good stuff.

Can. Almost clear golden amber with a 2cm white head that lasts well. Piney aroma with some bread/crust and grapefruit. Medium bodied. Sweet with malt that's plainish but has enough bready substance. Modest tenor register citrus. Resin builds a little towards the moderately bitter finish. I would have liked a little more bitterness but this is pretty good and is what it promises.
