I love Tom yum soup. This is no Tom yum. Tap. Pours clear pale yellow, small white head, good lacing. Aroma is light, dish water, lime, lemongrass. Flavor is light sweet, minimal bitter, lemongrass, hint of ginger, soap. Light body. Not bad, nor great.

Thanks to Sebletitje! Large can split. Ingredients list galanga & Thai ginger which I believe are the same beer. Clear golden, soapy white head. Base is not that great, soap, esters, thin, bit industrial BE esters, on top low lime, sweetish kaffir, not getting much galanga I think, interesting sweeter spice,... Industrial lively, base could have been better, additions are okay but not very expressive.

Pint can via trade, thanks Arturo ... @ Sebletitje pre-Bxl Beerfest evening. Filled on 01/30/2018. Brune foncée, col fin beige laissant un léger doré au verre. Arôme est fin avec une petite effluve de cannelle et un rétro malté de caramel et chocolaté. Douceur vanille perce en rétro avec un fini léger grillé. Palais est fin malté caramel et une petite douceur latente de vanille. L'effet lactose est modéré, j'aurais plus aimé un effet de riz. Cannelle moyenne, effervescence moyenne voire faible dû à une légère perce de la cannette.

Pint can via trade, thanks Arturo ... @ Sebletitje pre-Bxl Beerfest evening. Dorée, col blanc épais. Arôme est léger sur malt pils, petite touche citronnée en effluve avec un léger côté fleuri. Herbacé voire sur botanique, retrouve un côté citronnelle et feuille. Pointe subtile de gingembre mais plus fruité dans son approche. Palais est léger tirant doucement sur l'épicé de gingembre - plus doux proche d'un effet agrumes avec une belle rondeur des grains en fin de bouche. Le citronné des feuilles de kafir est plaisant.
