Half pint, starchy yellow, lacey white head. Dank nose. Some armpit and wet grass, light wheat. Really dank. Grassy. Lime. Wet herbs, some anise maybe? Funky for hops. Zero hop burn.

Bottle shared by CLW—thanks, Chris! Opaque black with nice viscosity. Aroma is strong Elijah Craig, toffee. Taste is strong Elijah Craig, chocolate, dark fruit, maybe hint of hazelnut. Silky smooth texture, medium bodied, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Delicious and barrel is well integrated with the base stout. How amazing would this have been if hazelnut and coconut were more prominent?

500 ml bottle. Nose is chocolate malt blended with Elijah Craig. The coconut is hidden under the barrel and hazelnut. Oily texture in a bolder body. Ridiculously smooth for the 15 % alcohol content. I love Elijah Craig so this works for me. Really great results here!!

500mL bottle released 2024, shared by CLW on 7/26/25.
Clear, dark cola-mahogany. Small, lighter-tan head.
Big EJ nose. Wow, they got the full monty there. Tasteful adjuncts show almost no coconut and only a touch of hazelnut earthiness. Chocolate fudge with light vanilla and woody barrel. No booze in the nose.
Soft, chocolatey, fudgey, BIG EJ vibes with woody barrel and very little coconut. Nutty, but nothing too big. There is some spicy, strong EJ warmth but it's not boozey or hot. Shocking that this is 15%. Balanced in all aspects. Not syrupy with a very, very low carbonation.
Super smooth and flavorful. Wonderful!

Pours clear gold into a tulip. White head quickly disappears to nothing. Plastic and pine aromas. Medium bodied with burnt plastic and pine upfront turning to hot caramel and mild pith in the medium length finish.

Brewery draught, 7/11/25.
Rich lemon-golden with a heavy haze and a firm, white head.
Big fruitiness with mild spice, unripe stone fruit, juicy peach and white wine. Rich, honey-like malt with nothing weird/off from yeast or dry hop. Just round, intense fruit and big spice to balance with soft, but balanced maltiness and no alcohol.
Soft, juicy, fruity, with a fluffy, malty texture and good depth and dryness. Stone fruit, white wine and hints of pine alongside juicy citrus. Cellar-like earth/mineral lingering with sweeter hop notes and round malts. Really balanced, juicy, soft and clean/well-polished.
