473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy copper with a small, foamy, short lived, off-white head that laces. Mild aroma of grainy caramel malt and floral hops. Sweet flavour of toasted biscuit malt, caramel, earthy yeast and leafy green hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and average to soft carbonation. Tasty and easy to put back.

473mL can, pours a dark amber/caramel colour with a tiny head, hinting at undercarbing. Aroma is quite caramely, with sweet caramel bready malt, and a touch of herbal notes. Flavour is very malty, with lots of caramel, bready malt, and a hint of toasted nuts. The carbonation is definitely abnormally low, which highlights the above average sweetness that is too high. This needs some work.

Okay foam on a hazy light copper body, some visible carbonation. Modest sweet cereal aroma, a little mealy, a little dirty. Taste is chewy malts, more cereal, ending smooth and a little wet. Seems a little haphazard, not a clean märzen and not a crisp one either but drinkable.

Okay puffy white foam on a sort of clear medium gold body, visible carbonation, slight cloudiness. Not bad bready cracker on the nose, slight hops, really vague licorice. Taste is smooth honey and cracker, soft grain, ending more smooth with lingering light grain. Adequate enough but hardly an elevated version of the style.

Very good foam on a slightly cloudy gold body. Nice floral pilsner hops on the nose, slighty tangy pine, a little faint. Taste is a deeper malt with tangy hops. Ends bitter and without enough carbonation. Very nice, but could be better.

Pours with very good foam into my Hard Rock Café glass, stormy cloudy amber body. Aroma is nice banana, semi-sweet with a bit of malt and doughy yeast. Taste is a nice yeasty banana and soft malt accents to balance it out. Working very well.

Dark gold-amber, slight haze and a thick head. Aroma is nondescript. On the palate, medium bitterness and light earthy hop note. The malts are thick, a bit too much so and there’s some yeastiness. So not bad but as with the mrzen it feels like it was made like an ale.
