Sampled @ ZBF 2016 (Thank you for sharing BE RB CREW!) Clear golden, little off-white head. Nose is oily vegetable, dull, muted, cabbage. Oily vegetable cabbage & sugar taste, butter, herbal, leaves. Vegetable & oily body. Not a fan at all of this one, there appear to unintended flavours / issues happening here.

(Thx!) 330 ml. bottle sampled @ “2de Bierproeffestival van De Dijleschuimers”. Near clear golden with no head. Nose is fish guts yeast, candy, saop, very boring BE sweetness. Nose is oddly & extremely overly sweet candy with boring BE fish guts, not too pleasant and zero depth, touch chemical sweetness. Bland & oily Belgian. Something a bit off-putting here but largely a very boring Belgian at best despite the Champagne yeast, Oak aging & dry hopping. Not sure what to think here, is this marketing? Fail attempt? Is this just not to my taste? Odd. Looking at the ingredients I would be inclined to say, here we have a new Belgian brewery trying to do something new but having tasted it, that is sadly not the case here.
