On tap at HUBco, pours a clear reddish amber, almost no head. Nose has plenty of sugary, estery notes from the Belgian yeast, bubblegum, caramel, and toffee—obviously not the right. Flavour actually is less sweet than expected: there’s definitely some estery notes, but also some decent Belgian yeast expression. The carbonation is nearly flat, which really doesn’t help things—you really need aggressive carb for these Belgian styles. Not terrible but needs work.

On tap at HUBco, pours a clear dull copper with a small white head. Aroma reveals coriander uptown, soft wheat, and a touch of citrus peel underneath. Flavour has some weird crunchy vegetal notes, some coriander, and some mineraly notes. Carbonation is way too low and there’s a strange harsh graininess. Not good.

On tap at HUBco, pours a clear bright yellow with a small white head. Aroma has floral notes, soft tangerine, and lacto. Flavour is lightly tart, with juicy tangerine, moderate acidity, and lacto. Simple, but rather mineraly and yogurty. Not great—fairly typical fruited kettle sour.

On tap at HUBco, pours a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma is very syrupy, with cloyingly sweet caramel malt that dominates, with resinous hops buried way underneath. Flavour is egregiously cloyingly sweet, with tons of disgustingly sweet syrupy malts—are there hops here? Yeah, obviously, but they’re totally buried beneath that nasty syrupy sweet malt. As unbalanced as they come. Incompetent hot garbage.

On tap at HUBco, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has dry cocoa, earthiness, and toasted bready malt. Flavour has dusty dry cocoa powder, some earthiness, and toasted bread. Too much cocoa powder character and lacking malt depth even for a porter. But not bad.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 2/11/25). Clear dull yellow gold with small white head. Tons of apple juice, some grain and corn malt, feint bittering hops. Although this is clearly infected and no longer tastes like a pale lager, it's actually not a bad summer patio sipper as it comes across as a sweet beer-cider hybrid so your average person in Mission buying a can would probably still be happy with it.
