27-11-20 // 330ml bottle. ??? Weird nose. Unbalanced. Malty. Bitter. Not even close to what I would call a proper IPA. Drainpour.

0,33 l bottle from Erzengel. Thanks a lot! Cloudy flat orange golden in the glass with a more than one finger frothy head. Mid fruity smell with black tea. Taste starts malty fruity, some orange, low citrus. Also black tea, some hop in the second row. Low fruity bitter aftertaste. Below average carbonated. Okay.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass brownish, small head. Roasty malty aroma. Starts mild, malty, roasty. Light sourish note. Background dry, light fruity touch of plum. Finish well balanced. Not bad.

Bottle. Clear light amber with a decent white head. Aroma of hops, caramel, malts and honey. Taste of caramel, malts, toffee, nuts, grains, a little bit of honey and some spiciness. Kind of sweet but also rather bitter. Medium carbonation. I don’t intend to ever spend much time in the Saarland but if I was I’d be happy to this drink this quite regularly.
