Description
Moonwake: “the moon’s reflection on a body of water” speaks to the brewery’s Leith Shore location, the importance of water as an ingredient, and our beer’s reflection of our collective experience.

Our beer is precision brewed with mindful intention on modern technology using quality ingredients.

Our founders started their beer careers on opposite sides of the world, Vinny in New Zealand and Fin in the UK. They bring over a decade of collective experience in brewing to Moonwake, for both of them brewing is their creative outlet.

Can from Great Grog. Clear deep golden body with an off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of caramel, pine and strawberry. Flavour of brown bread and orange. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. A tasty and accomplished west coast IPA. One of Moonwake’s best beers.

440ml can. Clear orange gold with a big off-white head, good retention too. Aroma of strong pine, resin, orange marmalade, grapefruit. Taste follows suit with a prominent piney resinous flavour, grapefruit, marmalade, caramel, biscuit malts, good strong bitterness to finish which lingers. Medium bodied. Excellent westie, really enjoyed this.
