On tap at Angleterre, pours a clear pale copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out subtle piney hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is very laid back, with soft piney hops and bready to back. Not much oomph. It’s alright though.

440ml can. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of sweet grains, rice, saffron. Taste of rice and grains, saffron giving it strong floral flavour and a very mild spicy suggestion, quite sweet, almost a slight apple/pear note too which I've got from sake before. Medium bodied.
Interesting lager. Wasn't sure at first but it grew on me and I really enjoyed it. Aroma and flavour very reminiscent of sake I'd say. Very different from other rice lagers I've had, think it just wants some good bitterness.

Sample thanks to Grumbo! Pours a deep gold. Grainy malt with an NZ fruity touch, citrus, nettles, medium bodied, with a light bitter close. Not bad.
