Keg at Llandoger Trow, Bristol. Hazy dark orange. Thick if translucent foamy white head. Aroma is citrusy (and pithy) with underlying milky oats. Flavourwise it has sweet tinged sourness (aka sweet citrus), with a more tart edge. Underlying chewy malts and oats. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation provides buoyancy. Long slightly astringent finish. Enjoyable.

Hand pulled half pint in the Dog Hangs Well, Ludlow on Friday 13th February 2026. Slight haze in the pale golden body, white crust on top. Hoppy but sadly a little bland and too me somewhat boring, all a bit too subtle for me.

500ml can from Seven Cellars. Gluten Free. Slightly hazed golden amber colour, foamy white head leaving lacing and aroma of malt, grain, herby hops. Taste is sweetish, malty, grainy, alittle caramel, with some zesty herbal hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Keg at Favourite Beers. Pours black with a creamy tan head. Aroma of chocolate, treacle, molasses. Taste is rich and sweet, chocolate, treacle, molasses and vanilla all there in spades, nothing overpowers, roasty coffee like finish, only a hint of the booze. Full bodied, smooth. Fantastic stuff, best Arbor stout I’ve had in ages.

Handpull cask at the Bag O' Nails, Bristol.amber and clear with a small beige head and plenty of lacing. Sweet, malty aroma, notes of pine and forest floor. Sweet taste, malty with a nice little bit of bittering hop later on. Clean finish. Light body with minimal carbonation. Nice little beer,

Cask at The Pocket, Highbury/Islington, London. A dark amber/brown coloured pour with a medium dense off white head on top. Rich, sweetish, malty, caramel action. Nicely balanced and easy to drink, decent effort from Arbor.
