Fine Malt-forward flavours of nuts, oats, and chocolate, lactose backbone. Nuts and chocolate to the ending. Quite well bodied for the low abv. Nice. (Nottingham 13.10.2022).

Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours almost black with virtually no head. Malts to the fore in the aroma, along with lactose. In the mouth it is sweet with a milky texture. Flavour is mainly dark fruits alongwith malts. Later some hints of aniseed as well. No sign of coconut though. Finish is fruity and slightly dry. Not at all bad.

Keg tap at the Needle & Pin, Loughborough. Lovely amber colour, mostly clear with a massive beige head. Sweet aroma of orange caramels with resinous and malty notes. Tastes fairly ho-hum: a sweet Vienna lager, heavy on the malt, with hints of sweetness and a slight sourness to finish off. Carbonation on the soft side. It's pretty decent and has its good moments but I'm struggling to get overly enthusiastic.
