Bottle at London Gathering Nov 05. Really nice smell. Oily, dark malts. Slightly sour in mouth but good chocolate and coffee flavours. Finish is really liquoricey. Good bitter dark choc and the liquorice is quite intense. Best of the Alcazar bottled beers I bought in Nottingham that I have had so far.

Cask (gravity dispense), White Cliffs Beer Festival, February 2005 Very impressed with this, especially the use of American hops gives it a nice hoppy aroma. Very well rounded and good balance. Pale ale with fruity malt and a sherberty finish. Well worth trying this.
