Cask@GBBF2010 (as Brush Bitter). Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruits, wood, some mild toasted notes as well as quite caramelly. Flavour is caramel, some wood and mild dark dry fruityness. Quite bitter finish.

From cask as Alcazar Brush Bitter. Pours clear and golden orange with a small, bubbly and white head. Aroma is hoppy and dark roasted malt. Bitter, caramelish and slight roasted. Ends caramelish sweet and slight bitter.

Bottled. A hazy light amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and fruit, leading to a dry and bitter finish.

Bottled@The 1st Vaasa CS/ES beer session (thanks JP). Pitch black with minor beige head. Aroma is ashes, coffee, caramel malts, roasted malts and some slight notes of toffee. Flavour is rather much the same, but has a clearly stronger chocolaty tone. Very pleasant.

Bottled@The 1st Vaasa CS/ES beer session (thanks JP). Ambery brown colour with mediumsized slightly off-white head that leaves some lace. Aroma is caramel malts, some slight floral and grassy notes as well as mild plumlike notes. Flavour is being quite much the same as the aroma, but is a bit more bitter than the aroma would have promised.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of malt and over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, brewing mash, and over ripe fruits - a somewhat weird combination. The finish is dry and bitter, and the body is light.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Very cloudy amber golden with a rough, off-white head. Unclean aroma, fruit and nuts and a lightly fusty edge. Quite full-bodied with nutty accents. Distinctly raw and bitter finish with quite some alcohol showing. A crude one. 050109

Cask@Nottingham Beer Festival, 2008. Dark amber beer with a mildly hopped and toffee aroma. The flavour is toffee, hopped and caramel. Overall an average beer.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden brown to amber with a full and off-white head. Wineous to dark fruity aroma. Mild spiced and solid roasted malt flavour with a light bitterness showing through. Acidic and roasted finish with a solid bitterness coming coming through and a smooth chocolate note on top.

Bottle 50cl.Clear medium amber brown color with a average, frothy, fair lancing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dark berry, dusty, celler. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (170508)
