32oz crowler pours with a slightly hazy light purple plum colored body that supports a bright white head. The modest aroma offers up berries that have a mild sharpness and then floral notes with a hint of hop spiciness. The taste delivers similar notes of berry and then spicy to floral hops. The berries are out front ahead of the hops but not by too much. A few more sips and thin soft sweet cantaloupe is noticed. This is pretty nice.

32oz crowler pours up with an opaque glowing gold straw colored body that supports a light tan head. The aroma offers up pineapple, tangerine, soft mango and then a green sort of herbal slightly floral sensation. The taste delivers smooth soft sweetened mango and tangerine and then the juiciness becomes a little brighter with ripe tangelo blended with pineapple. To midway a modest honey dew note hits just before a pleasing modest degree of cracker to almost bready maltiness bubbles to the surface and takes this into the finish. This is working for me as more sips reveal juicy mango heading into the cracker like maltiness. Solid.

8.8/10 β€” Appearance 10 Aroma 8 Flavor 9 Texture 8 Overall 9
32oz crowler pours with a slightly hazed slightly pale gold body that supports a nice light leather looking head of foam. The aroma offers up soft inviting cantaloupe, mango, sweet smelling honey dew and then slightly sharper citrus notes and a sense of floral hops. Oh yeah. The taste delivers smooth near soft notes of thin grapefruit nuanced tangelo and then increasing levels of juicy mango, cantaloupe and honey dew. It just glides effortlessly like that right into the finish and this β€œlow” abv and soft palate makes for a near crushable experience. Behind those notes are thin layers of earthy to slightly spicy hop bitterness. Solid IPA. I will enjoy every milli ounce of these 32 ounces.

32oz growler pours with a nice dark used motor oil blackness that supports a thin mocha colored head. The modest aroma offers up cinnamon graham cracker, chocolate malt balls, dark roasted malts and a bit of spicy black licorice. The taste begins with a pleasing smooth and fairly rich chocolate note and then moving into cinnamon, thin black licorice and then some dark roasted maltiness. Toward the finish a mild chili pepper warming is noticed. This comes together nicely as the chocolate swirls from left to right and back again amid the winter spices. Solid.

Poured up on tap at the Attic where it exhibits a near clear deep gold body that supports a bright white head. The modest aroma offers up spicy hops, vaguely fruity notes and then a malt sense. The taste delivers smooth malts, some malt sweetened spicy hops and then a vague fruitiness. Decent.

32oz growler pours with a near clear gold to copper colored body that supports a nice light tan head. This thing just erupted with aromatics as I poured the growler contents into the glass. Wow. Loads of mango, pineapple, some guava, cantaloupe and a good mix of spicy onion dank hoppiness. Oh, yeah. Further inspection revealed thin layers of ripe tangelo and clementine citrus. The taste delivers plenty of juiciness where cantaloupe, mango, pineapple and tangelo just run amuck of the flavor scene. Plenty of deep involved juiciness. This isn’t a crushable product but a great easy sipper. Behind all of the juiciness there’s a pleasing hop bitterness to help balance this out with notes of spicy onion and a thin grassy note. This is a solid hoppy brew. I may need more soon.

Tap at Dark Sky Brewing, Flagstaff. Colour is cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, tropical fruits, sweetness, some Belgian yeast and some malts. Too easy for me.

32oz growler pours with a clear gold body that supports a light tan head. The aroma offers up caramel, orange candy, some watermelon and then spicy to floral hops. The taste delivers a flash of malts and caramel before bitter floral hops, some spicy hops, a dash of citrus hop juicy flavor and then a modest level of watermelon notes comes to the surface. The hops really aren’t coming together all that well with this malt bill and the watermelon fails to help much.

On tap at Angel's Trumpet Ale House, pours a dark caramely amber colour with a small beige head. Aroma brings out stale cardboardy notes, along with bready malts and faint caramel. Flavour is similar, with stale cardboard, toasted bread and caramel. Something way wrong here. Stale and phenolic. Undrinkable.
