Sampled @ Borefts Bier Festival 2022. A clear yellow golden beer. Aroma of sour apples, sulfur, grapes and brett. Taste of sour apples, sulfur, white grapes, brett.

Bottle. Clear golden color with no head. Aroma is funky barrel, vineous, a bit nutty, not bad complexity. Taste is nutty again, dry, tannic finish, but also white wine. Oily mouthfeel, just a bit of carbonation. Not bad!

Borefts 2022, tart but overall not inpressive

Saurer Beginn. Etwas Essig, Nuancen von Pfirsich, konstante Aromatik. Die Säure brennt leicht, mittellanger Abgang - gefällt. 7/10/11/11//11

Little cloudy orange beer, no head. Aroma: very fruity, juicy, lots of citrus, fruity, sourish impression, wild and funky notes. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very sourish, lemony, very fruity, juicy, alcohol touch, acidic, some tropical fruits. Aftertaste: acidic, lemon juice, very sourish, passion fruit, some mango, decent!

Clear orange to blond beer, no head. Aroma: spicy, oxidized, grains, hay, funky, weird, a bit unpleasant. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: very sourish, bitter as well, dry, a bit grassy, funky, peach skin, some tannins. Aftertaste: dry, spicy touch, pretty acidic and dry finish, slightly fruity.

Pretty clear yellow to light beige beer, small irregular off-white head, a little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: weird, funky, very woody, earthy, overripe fruits, a bit of banana, very oxidized. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, grapes, apple juice, pretty sourish, lemony, lemon juice, malic acid. Aftertaste: pretty dry, acidic, lemon juice, lactic acid, fruity, apples, lemony, sour finish, a little bitter, some tannins, a bit of mildew.

Clear orange beer, no head. Aroma: a bit floral, funky, sourish impression, lemony, infected maybe? Definitely something weird and even a bit (but just a bit) unpleasant going on. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very acidic! This stuff strips the enamel right off your teeth! Super sourish, lemon juice, vinegar. Aftertaste: very dry, mouth pucking sourness, fruity touch, very acidic, vinegar. Oh boy... they don’t know when to stop, do they?

Clear blond to straw yellow beer, no head. Aroma: fruity, very malty, a little funky, peaches, some oranges and orange peel. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: a bit sourish, tangerines, bitter touch, sourish, lemon juice. Aftertaste: dry, fruity, lemony, zesty, bitter finish, decent stuff!

Wässrig säuerlicher Beginn. Spritzig, getreidig, konstant. Ok, unspannend. 10/7/8/8//7
