Bit bland. Lemony. Not much saison in there. Little spicy maybe.

Brew classic Present CITRA IPA Nice clear gold with a big fruity citra hop bouquet, medium dry body and tasty balanced hoppiness. Nice mild bitter bite for a crushable brew out of Ishikawa. Really tasty.

Tap at Komachi. Slightly hazy, deep gold. Sweet malts, citrus hops, bit of tropical fruit. Rather simple and straightforward, good balance but the hops leave something to be desired.

Draft @ Ale Gion Beer, Kyoto. Almost black/dark brown with almost no (beige) head. Aroma of dried fruits, malts and toffee. Taste of malts, dried fruits, brown sugar, malt lozenges, herbs and caramel. Moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. Balanced and delicious.

On tap at Craft Beer Bar iBrew - Akihabara, pours a dark chestnut brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out strong English malt, a litre brown sugar, and bready malt. Flavour is strong, with big bready malt, some toffee, light spicy yeast, and caramel. Pretty dry for a barley wine—not really similar to a English or Americans Barleywine, but closer to the former. Interesting.

On tap at Craft Beer Bar iBrew - Akihabara, pours a hazy brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt and a hint of toasted nuts. Flavour is dry, with toasted nuts, bready malt, and a hint of toffee. A bit chaotic but pleasant enough. Meh—a bit rough of a brown.

(Can) Pours slightly hazy amber with small white head. Aroma of Caramel, pine and passionfruit. Medium body with good fine carbonation. Nice hoppy bitterness. Modest biscuit malt. Very nice (Google translate suggests the name is Mission Strawberry Koala!)
