Description
Situated at the iconic Battersea Power Station under the arches in Circus West Village, Battersea Brewery is dedicated to creating amazing beers in South West London.

The team behind Mosaic Pubs have opened their first micro-brewery at Battersea Power Station. With a taproom on site, the beer can’t get any fresher as it’s pumped directly into tanks from the brewery.

Tap@Battersea Brewery, London (05/11/2022) - Sweet malty and fruity, some notes of peach and grapefruit, grassy herbal hoppy accents, big sweet malty backbone, resinous piney bitter hoppy finish. Nice west coaster.

Tap@Battersea Brewery, London (05/11/2022) - Crisp toasted sweet bready malty, notes of grass, cereal, straw, crisp mouthfeel, light to medium body, bitter hoppy finish. Pretty nice and easy drinking fayre.

Tap@Battersea Brewery, London (05/11/2022) - Toasted and sweet malty with notes of dried fruit, some light smoked ashy malt, caramel and toffee, medium plus body, warming malty finish. Alright.

Keg at the Battersea Brewery taproom/arch, 04/11/22. Mahogany brown with a good sized beige cap. Nose is fruit cake, raisins, toffee, spice, dark malts. Taste comprises dark malts, spice, toffee, dates, raisins, fruit slice, prunes. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced spike of alcohol. Decent for the style.

Keg at the Battersea Brewery taproom/arch, 04/11/22. Hazed orange with an off white cap that retains well, lacing ensues. Nose is bitter orange, pine needle, grass, ripe melon, lime zest. Taste comprises orange pith, light floral whisper, mixed tropical fruit esters, papaya, touch of perfume, lime leaf, hint of dankness. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with juicy come light resinous hop bitterness. Decent.

Keg at the Battersea Brewery taproom/arch, 04/11/22. Clear golden copper with a good sized lasting off white head. Nose is bitter orange, light caramel, pine nip, melon, grass. Taste comprises orange peel, grapefruit, caramel, melon, pine needle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with light juicy come grassy hop bitterness. Okay fayre but comes over a touch too sweet for me.
