Bottle at Ilgezeem Centraltirgus, Riga Just a general sweetness in the aroma. Pours a very dark brown with a small beige head. Mouth is dominated by malts and sweetness, toffee, caramel and liquorice, with a bit of burnt toast to liven things up ! Finish is still sweet but hoppiness starting to come through. Not a brilliant beer, but nice to see another traditional Latvian brewery doing a porter.

Bottle (as Tanheiser Porter Kvass). Pours dark brown. Aroma and flavor are sweet, sugary, sour, fruits, black rye bread. Overall: drinkable, but more too sweet.

150cl PET (as Tanheiser Kvass Nefiltrēts) from Prisma, Tallinn. Pours hazy brown without any head to speak of. Malty and breast with notes of dried fruits. Sweet, but with some acidity, so quite balanced and enjoyable.

Bottle.Dark brown colour with small head.Aroma of brown sugar and caramel a bit like bad cola with sugar and rye bread.Im not a big fan of Kvass so maybe this is good.

Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Dark brown colour. Heavy malty and light hoppy aroma. Heavy sweet flavor. Average very sweet finish. Watery palate.

Smell- medium to weak, honey, lemon, spice. Foam- thin, to watery side, honey and lemon feel, some sweetness too. medium, white, yellowy orange foam. Appearance- clear, orange, brown amber, carbonated. Taste- honey, some lemon, some sweetness, citrus. Not as citrusy as I expected, actually not that bad.
