50cl bottle from Rimi Hyper Apelsīns, Ādaži. Pours clear golden with a modest, white head. Aroma dominated by honey, with notes of malt and hints of ripe fruits as well. Sweet and meady, but quite easy to drink and fairly enjoyable.

Back in Riga for Dad’s commemoration. From a 500ml bottle on 6/6/2024, after a disastrous days travel. Pours a deep golden/light amber with pretty much no head. Smells very much of honey with floral notes. Tastes of sweet silky honey and caramel with a touch of orange tang in counter. Syrupy plate with modest carbonation. I admittedly have a sweet tooth when it comes to beer but this is actually really well done. Don’t be persuaded by the haters. A lovely dessert treat and utterly smashable for just 5.5%.
