Description
State of Kind Brew Co launched in spring 2021. As you can imagine, it’s taken a fair bit of planning, and yes, you’re right, we basically started a brewery in the middle of a global pandemic. This isn’t quite as crazy as it sounds. In a funny way, it’s ideal: if we can make it work now, we can make it work any time, whatever the world throws at us. We’re launching first as a gypsy brewer, with four gorgeous core beers created using spare capacity on the premises of some kind, creative and brilliant brewing friends. But we don’t plan to stay on the move for long. Once the pubs have fully re-opened and we’ve recovered from the celebrations, the plan is to launch our very own state-of-the-art brewery and taproom. Hopefully, if all goes to plan, by the time Christmas 2021 rolls around you can come and say cheers in person...
It opened its own brewery and taproom in Summer 2022.

On tap at The Green Goddess, Blackheath Royal Standard. Certainly a melon nose, splash of white grape, lychee. Taste is a nice amalgamation of the above. Mire sweetness than sour. Tidy brew.

440ml can. Poured a murky golden orange colour with a big, lasting, frothy white head. The aroma is mango, peachy. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a tart peach, mango, pineapple, coconut, lime, dry spicy, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness allied to a mellow boost.
Solid DIPA.

Can from Caledonian Craft Beer Merchant. Milky golden body with a white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of lime, bay leaf and honeydew melon. Flavour of vine tomato, juicy melon and lime chutney. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. A punchy, limey DIPA - a real treat.

Can. A mild to medium haze on this orange gold beer, small and short lived pale cream colour head. Airy smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth light pale malts, a nice light creamy sweetness. Soft light pine. Persistent hop spice. Good Nectaron stone fruits, a vague honeyish vibe. Mellow citrus. Maybe a touch of Nelson winey grape on the back end, if you are looking for it. Smooth and semi dry finish brings a mild bitterness and leaves a long hop spicy linger. Good dipa.
