Mmmm. Not sure that this works for me. It's a very light ale that really doesn't taste like 4.9%

Cask at Borough Arms, Crewe. Pours a dark reddish-brown with a small off-white head and good lacing. There’s malts in the aroma, and again in the mouth where it is sweet overall. Texture is smooth with nuts, red grapes and berry fruits leading to a dry finish. This is decent – a simple beer done well.

Gravicask at The 14th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival 2022, Marquee Bar. Shared with Finn. Patchy beige head over a coal black body, scattered lacing. Smoothly roasted malty smell, mid-sweet. Dark malt-driven flavours, moments of liquorice, ash, and earth. Roasted malty end. Not too thin. Pleasing to a certain degree. (Nottingham 13.10.2022).
