Flight at the brewery in Denton, Texas. Pitch black color with a small light tan head. Very dark roasted malts flavor. Too dark?? Minimal coffee notes. The 8.2% ABV if fairly well hidden but you feel the warmth. Not sweet or bitter. Dark for dark's sake. Okay.

Flight at the brewery in Denton, Texas. Clear mahogany color with a beige head. Starts out with a nice smoky flavor and then it's quickly washed away by a boozy finish. A shame, because the flavor is good.

Flight at the brewery in Denton, Texas. A clear bronze color with a very small off-white head. Nice malty caramel flavor but a bit hoppier than I prefer.

Flight at the brewery in Denton, Texas. Cloudy gold color with a white head and good lacing. Very little yeast flavor - a good thing. Sweet and clean. Easy drinking on a sunny day. Generic but good.
