Description
Pioneers of craft brewing in Croatia! Like Americas breweries, we started craft beer revolution in Croatia, because we want to refresh beer offer in Croatian market. Currently, customers can only buy boring domestic Euro lagers - but not for long!!

As awarded homebrewers, we are passionate about our ales, and we would like to give opportunity to Croatian consumers to enjoy in our beers. Making beers because of quality and flavor, and not because of the cash flow :). Our portfolio will be from cask ales to craft kegs!

Let's start together - Croatian craft beer revolution!!!!

At the Renaissance Festival in Koprivnica. Probably brown body with an off white head. Mild aroma, caramel, herbs, just a touch meaty at times, but that’s gone quickly. Simple dry taste with a nice note of coffee that brakes through later and maybe caramel. Good bitterness. Well, if someone told me to guess what it was in a blind tasting, I wouldn’t have said nettle. But, this is still a very drinkable beer, and that lightness might be a plus for some. Not my favorite beer of theirs, by far. But it serves its purpose well, and the concept is excellent.

On tap at Ro & Do Zagreb. Dark brown (nearly black) coloured, medium sized brownish head, slight acidity in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel, light chocolate and mild dried fruits with again some acidity in the finish. Not bad but rather light stuff.

On tap at Cajt. One of two kegs available outside of Montenegro. Chestnut, murky dark brown. Tan head. Subtle aroma, sweetish, malty, caramel, dusty, creamy. Light, slightly subdued, soft taste. Light caramel, vaguely toasty, vague raisins. Damn drinkable, to style, not entirely my style but exactly what they aimed for.

Cloudy, amber colored, moderate strong and lasting white head. Aroma of caramel malt and strong fruity and citrus hops. Taste is low to moderate sweet malt, caramel, tropical fruits, peach and citrus, bit biscuity, medium bitter, dry bitter finish and long grapefruit aftertaste. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Very nice and refreshing, goes down in a second.

Oct ’14. On tap at Ro&Do bar, Zagreb. It poured hazy amber body with smaller head. Aroma was citrus hop dominated, Cascade I guess, with notable background biscuit malt. Almost aromatic as an IPA. Flavor was lightly bitter only, pleasant hops intertwined with elegant and rather complex malt which, besides biscuit, included some fruits like peach, spices like cinnamon and plain grainy notes which only added to the robustness. Medium bodied with very nice and smooth although not particularly long biscuit and, at the very end, dry finish. A nice APA, I’m so thrilled to see these new craft breweries around!

Draught at Beer Fest in Zagreb. Pours a slightly hazy orangey amber color, topped with very thin white head. Nice citrusy aroma, herbal hoppy notes and some pine also present. Taste has some fruitiness at first, followed by nice and gentle hoppy bittenres and mild herbal aftertaste. Very likeable, easily drinkable.

On tap at various locations in Zagreb. Have tried various batches which differed in quality. Pours orange with white head. Citrus and tropical fruits in aroma. Fruity flavor with just enough body. Bitter finish. My favorite of all the new beers which emerged in Croatia in 2014. Re Rate: well for some time now it hasn't been the old APA we used to know. Not sure if it's me or the recipe was a bit adjusted to distinct it from C4. Less aroma and a bit more watery. Still a good choice to have a several in a row and keep your mind clear.
