Description
It began as a family company making Belgian style ales. Initially it was hobby brewing, father Jo and son Mischa. The beer proved such a hit with friends and family, it just took off from there. Having moved from Limburg in the Netherlands to Limburg in Belgium, they had come to appreciate the Belgian style beer. Inspired, it was decided to try and recreate that beer culture in their business. New Limburg was born. We’ve transformed an old school into a microbrewery. Looking to bring the best Belgian style ales to Norfolk County

500ml bottle from the lcbo. Bright golden pour, large white head. Super yeasty aroma, with alot of fragrant grasses, and sharp herbal notes. Effervescent carb, very clean, and crisp mouthnfeel. Finish was lightly bitter, lots more yeast and some pine apple notes with hints of tropical fruit and alot of bright, sharp grasses. Nice stuff.

It is heavy on the carbonation, resulting in mountains of thick white head even on a careful pour. Blonde, as you'd expect, and cloudy with a few yeasty lees chunks to circumnavigate the beer with the bubbles. Yeasty nose, that's pretty flat. Taste mildly sweet malt, yeast, banana. Not stellar.
