Description

Created in 2021 and based in Vendargues, in the Montpellier conurbation, the Vendale brewery has set itself the task of opening the doors of the world of artisanal and independent beer to everyone. The brewery is located on the same production site as its big sister Prizm Brewing. Know-how, brewing machines, fermenters and raw materials are shared there, thus allowing an optimal and controlled quality of our beers.

0.33 l bottle at Ambasada, Zagreb. Clear golden, small lasting off-white head. Aroma is intense vegetable, stale bread, some plastic. Hint of sweet corn and other grain. Sweet, corn flakes flavour. Hints of vegetables. Light, creamy, cloying, smooth, soft to moderate carbonation, light and abrupt dry finish.

0.33 l bottle at Ambasada, Zagreb. Clear golden, medium lasting frothy off-white head. Aroma is yeasty, phenolic, spicy, dusty, bready, caramely and cardboard. Ripe fruit after awhile, ripe apple and quince. Hints of bubblegum and spice. Medium body, soft, sweet. Flavour is bubblegum, caramel, molasses, spice and some cardboard. Oversweet.

330ml bottle. Slightly milky, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Wheaty malty, slightly citrusy fruity and slightly spicy aroma, hints of orange peel and coriander, mustard seed overtones. Taste is slightly zesty, citrusy fruity and mildly spicy, pale and wheaty malty basis with some residual sweetness, hints of lemon, orange peel, coriander.
Watery texture, indifferent palate, medium, scattered, mildly prickly carbonation.
Quite light and watery - OK.

0.33 l bottle at Ambasada, Zagreb. Unclear greenish-golden, small off-white head. Aroma is lightly floral, hint of coriander, malts and cardboard. Drinkable, quite light, quite thin. Flavour is banana, floral and coriander. Some spices such as black pepper. Slightly creamy, slightly bland, not very refreshing. A hint of tartness. Dry finish.

As VNDL Beaux-Arts Stout - Tonka, 6.5% ABV. Dark brown to black, small tan head. Aroma is roasty, cocoa and cardboard. Flavour is roasty, lightly burnt, some toffee, some dark chocolate and cardboard. Medium body, creamy, slightly sticky texture. Sweet, also slightly bitter and astringent. Some tonka and cocoa lingers giving some sweetness and creaminess and an unusual floral touch to a dry finish.

Mas pajiza que dorada. Nebulosa. Bonita espuma de consistencia y duración medias. Aroma agradable, frutal. En boca es ligera de cuerpo, suave de gas. Sabor muy agradable de base malteada, se nota el trigo, con ricas notas cítricas, mandarina, limón. Notas secas y especiadas. Todo en una lager. Bien hecho.
