Sampled from the tap at the Afterthought. Pours a near clear light yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has grass and straw with light fruits and a bit of bread underlying. Flavor is grass forward with hay and light fruits supporting.

500ml bottle. Tropical fruity with notes of mango, peach, pineapple, citrus, pear, grapefruit, some funky yeastiness, mild tartness and hints of dry herbal notes in the finish. Refreshing.

Flaska. Fin lätt disigt gul färg med ett härligt stort vitt och bubbligt skum. Doften är syrligt bärig med inslag av hö och örter. Smaken är oerhört frisk, lätt men inte flyktig. Först och främst syrliga bärkärnor och lätt ljust spannmål. Därefter torkade örter, lite bubbelgum och lime. Riktigt fin, påminner lite om Fantome Saison i mixen av det klassiska och det något skruvade.

Interesting to see what the Brett has done since drinking the original 4 months ago. Tons more smoke, more natural carbonation, and more stone fruit. Less raisin. Cheers Matt B. !

My first smoked saison- so good, so complex. The smoked malts taste slightly different with each sip. Full range of flavors. Excited to try the Brett Favre version. Thanks Matt!

Wonderful. Has a real grain flavor but not texture. Woodsy, earthy, fieldy. Makes me wish it were sundown in a French field somewhere.

Creamy pour with a lot of foam from the trap. Spicy aromatic malt nose, a bit of hop. Lightly carbonated, like a nitro pour. Creamy with a bit of the funk expected from a farmhouse beer. Slight acidic aftertaste on the lips. Some citrus, too, further down. Having this after a day of yard work, and a great topper to a busy day.
