[ As Neptunus Icarus ].Clear medium amber orange colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, minerals, mint, thyme, bubble gum. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, spicy, herbs, pale malt, caramel, sweet malt, mint - bubble gum - thyme. Bottle @ home. Opaque dark brown color with a red-brown hue, medium sized beige head. Aroma is malts, dark malts, lightly earthy, coffee. Taste malts, moderately roasty, coffee, dark malt bitter, chocolate lightly, soft roasty bitter. Medium body, suitable soft carbonation. Very nice, quite a surprise, didn't expect that but I really like it. 8-4-8-4-16.

0.33 l bottle from ’Speciaalbierpakket.nl’, best before July 2017. Clear, golden amber with a thin, foamy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly fruity, a bit spicy and minimally soapy aroma of lemon peel, carambola and some ginger. Sweetish, slightly fruity and a bit spicy taste of lemon peel, carambola, some pineapple, vanilla and a touch of honey, followed by a short, slightly bitter, moderately spicy and a little dry finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite interesting, not bad, but quite tame for that abv.

Tap at Stadsbrouwerij Leiden Hazy orange golden with white head. Sweet malts. Doughy, light sugary, light orange fruity. Medium sweet and light bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. Tap at Lemmy’s. Hazy orange golden with small white head. Cloves, sweet pils malts, some alcohol, light herbs, apricot. Quite sweet with spicy yeasty bitter finish. Over medium bodied. Decent.

fles van Secret Sint, 2016, bedankt ! schenkt ongefilterd amber/kopen met volle witte kraag. aroma is redelijk zoet, mout, kruidig, stevig geurend, honing en wat tijm. Smaken floraal, redelijk veel honing en tijm in mindere mate, redelijk tot zwaar zoet, iets van zepig mondgevoel, hmmm niet helemaal mijn ding..
