York Beer Festival 2025, Beer#16. Black, crisp, mild liquorice notes in taste, which linger, and are somewhat rich.

440ml can. Pours murky opaque dark irange with no head. Aroma is tangy guava with a little sickly underneath. Taste has guava and papaya with a sharp sour and bitter hop finish.

0,2l from tap at Syltan Kök, Malmö. Yellow clear color, small white head. Smells pines, earthy, bit peppery, herbal. Decent smell. Light body, soft carbonation. Tastes cucumber, earthy, spices, bit old hoppy, tobacco, soapy, lime. Finishes lightly dry and light to medium bitter with notes of tobacco, soapy and peppery notes. Ok, drinkable, gets a bit better once it warms, overall not overly exciting

[33cl can from Beer52.] A dark brown pour with a fast fading beige head; piney aroma; rather thin in the mouth with a rich malty taste ; then an earthy but watery finish.

330ml can via Beer52. Poured into my lovely Gordon's thistle shaped glass at home on 11th September 2025. Clean dark brown body, full foaming crust of lightly tanned bubbles on top. A little harsh in the mouth, with an earthy bitterness, gets softer as it warms, woody/twiggy leanings, it's different, but not really to my liking.

Cask @ The Mitre, Cambridge. Clear gold with an ok white head. Aroma of grass and grapefruits. Taste of grapefruits, zest, malts, lemons and grass. Moderate bitterness. No carbonation. Nice but I hate to admit it took me almost the whole pint to get the pun.
