Cask at Bricklayers Arms Yorskhire Festival 09. Pale gold, lasting bubbly white head. Supposed to be sauvignon blanc-y and it is. Nelson Sauvin hops? Getting towards the end of the barrel, so little condition, but the mango/passionfruit is unmistakeable. In top condition, this would be fantastic, rich tropical fruits and drying tangy hop. Just lacks condition.

Cask, Rigby’s, Liverpool. Very dark brown colour with a thin off-white head. Caramel malt, dark chocolate aroma. Flavour quite strange, trace of tcp?! raisin, molasses, nuts in there too with some hoppage. Not really sold on this.

Gravity at The Doric Arch, London
Hazy blond color with a greenish hue. Light hoppy aroma. It has a soft mouthfeel, mainly for the lack of carbonation, with a grassy malt flavor, light, and ordinary bitterness. Nothing special.

Cask at the Cambridge Blue, 11-10-08 Pours mid amber with a thin white head. Some tangy but dusty hops show, little bit of woodiness, lacking in a bitter punch, this aside its fine enough.

Cask at the Woolpack Beer Festival 08, Banbury, Oxon, in the company of Glen, Trev and a good sprinkling of local CAMRA members Had this beer on the recommendation of Glen and a good solid shout that was from him. Poured dark brown with light beige head. Smooth chocolate comes to the fore, there is some smokiness but I found that it was quite subtle. Some fruitiness (dark fruits) not particularly bitter, there is some ashtray on the nose now, good tang decent beer.
