Cask at the hanging bat. Pours hazy golden, nose is toffee, melon, light citrus, taste is similar, sweet.

Simcoe x Chinook IPA from Almasty Brewing Co.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 8th January 2020. Hazy unfined gold with shallow white foam and plenty of lacing. Malty aroma with orange zest. Citrus peel in-mouth with tropical fruits. Slightly undone by a sub-welcome lactic touch, that lasts into the finish where it occupies the lions share of the palate, masking the juiciness of the ipa. Full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

Cask at the hanging bat... Hazy amber... Small white head.. Soft sweet orange fruits nose.. Light soapty orange fruits... Very solid

On cask at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - cloudy yellow. Substantial white lacing. Nose - big guava note. Very ripe melon. Taste - yeah guava again going into fresh sweat. Palate - creamy and close to medium bodied. Dry bitter but fairly balanced finish. Overall - good.
