Draught @ Alaus Stacija, Riga, Latvia.Unclear medium to dark brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, toffee, butter, brown sugar, light roasted. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, burnt caramel bitter, caramelized malt - brown sugar, sweet malt, malt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120729]

Draught @ Alaus Stacija, Riga, Latvia.Unclear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toffee, butter, light caramel. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sugary, sharp bitter and acidic very shortly. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. IMO. Not bad just to buttery and sweet for me, but others like it very much ! [20120729]

Draught at Alaus Stacija, Riga. Hazy mahogany colour, minimal head. Aroma of butterscotch and caramel. Sweet and very buttery. Medium bodied with soft mouthfeel. Caramel and some blueberry, but butterscotch dominates. Low bitterness. A beer with many qualities, but riddled by huge levels of diacetyle.

Draught at Alaus Stacija, Riga. Hazy golden, rich creamy head. Sweet with mild spicy hops. Medium bodied with soft mouthfeel. Sugar and spicy hops, mild butterscotch. Long bitter finish. Pleasant, albeit very sweet.

Draught (Gauja, Riga) - Copper brown/red in colour with a small head. Sweet and malty aroma with some plums and other fruity elements. Sweetish malty taste with some fruit and raisins and some slightly roasted notes. Rather sweet but fairly tasty.

Draught (Gauja, Riga) - Hazy amber in colour with a small white head. Bready aroma with some spicy malt notes. Slightly flat at first, the taste is mlldly fruit with malt,hop and bread notes. Some honey can be detected in the finish. Better than most beers of this type and at least it’s adventurous compared to many beers from Latvia.
