Light cracker malt notes and a hints of oats and alcohol. Pours a slightly hazy, golden orange with a medium large, pillowy, white head that recedes slowly to a small, thick, creamy head that lingers. Moderate lacing and small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with light cracker malt notes and hints of oats. Moderately strong bitterness and light alcohol notes. Medium hop notes of grapefruit, strawberry and passion fruit with lighter pine and dank resin notes. Overall, a solid West Coast IPA. Nice bitterness and solid hop notes with a great malt character and body.

Poured from an undated 16 oz can. Aroma is hop forward with passion fruit, strawberry and citrus notes. Light dank, resin notes. Medium light cracker malt notes and hints of alcohol. Pours a fairly clear, golden color with a medium large, thick, pillowy white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers in clumps on the edges. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with medium light cracker malt notes and a hint of caramel. Fairly strong and assertive bitterness with light alcohol notes. Moderately strong notes of pine, grapefruit, and dank resin that lingers into the finish. Lighter strawberry, passion fruit and citrus notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid West Coast IPA. Solid bitterness with balanced malt notes and sweetness. Good hop character but I wonder whether Strata is the best hop for West Coast IPAs.
