Tap at the Brewpub. Poured a deep mahogany with a thin tan head and a little broken lace. The aroma is light roasted malt. The flavour is strong bitter with a big roasty liqourice, light grass hop, light medicinal palate. Moderate to full bodied with soft carbonation. Big and chewy without too many hops. A decent beer but not a traditional black IPA.

Draft at Warpigs. Pours hazy golden with a ring off white head. Aroma of grassy and weedy hops, yeast, citrus, fruits and hay. Flavor is light sweet and bitter with a touch of sourness. Light to light medium bodied with light carbonation.

Tap at the Brewpub. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is big tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter with a lovely grassy juicy citrus hop palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Lovely and fresh, lots of fruit, but needs a little more in the finish. A little spice would have made this beer perfect.

Draft at Warpigs. Pours near black with a small tan head. Aroma of bug vanilla upfront with cacao nibs, light licorice, fudge, toffee and a little roast. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.
