Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Golden colour, foamy white head and aroma of apple, fruit. Taste is sweetish, apple, fruity, caramel hint, slightly tart, with mellow acidity. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying appley finish. Quite drinkable.

27/9/2024. From BIAB at St. Albans Beer & Cider Festival 2024. Pours clear dark gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma is apple, caramel, brown sugar, funky, slightly soapy. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness, touch tart. Moderate body, slightly watery, low carbonation. Dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

27/9/2024. From BIAB at St. Albans Beer & Cider Festival 2024. Pours clear dark gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma is sweet apple, caramel, hedgerow, core. Medium sweetness, light bitterness, touch tart. Moderate body, average carbonation. Drying bittersweet finish. Quite okay.

Bottle from Peterley Manor Farm, near High Wycombe. Orange-gold, no fizz. Sweet up front; apple pulp and vanilla to the fore, A powdery, moderately dry finish. It's ok apart from the powderiness.

Bottle sample courtesy of Theydon_Bois, cheers Colin! Golden colour, bubbly white head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of apple, with some skin and core. Taste is sweetish, apple, fleshy, tart, some core, apple skin and light acidity. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, drying acidic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle at home, picked up from Peterley Farm Shop, 12/11/22. Clear golden to light copper with a thin white cap that escapes edgewards. Nose is caramelised apple, sugars, tannins, apple skins. Taste comprises toffee apple, caramel, apple pie, tannins, sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Pleasant sipper if a little on the sweet side for my liking.

Bladder box at Fishers 2nd birthday bash, Fishers brewery HWY, 27/07/19. Pale yellow with a small crown of white bubbles. Nose is bitter sweet apples, light funk, wood, grains. Taste comprises apple skins, light farmyard esters, straw, tannins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent.

Bladder box at Fishers 2nd birthday bash, Fishers brewery HWY, 27/07/19. Almost clear golden with a white cap of bubbles. Nose is apple pulp, straw, light orchard wood. Taste comprises apple, light residual sugars, hit of vanilla, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad.
