Pours murky light gold into a tulip. White conglomerate head with good retention recedes leaving soapy lacing. Lemon pith and melon aromas. Sweet with hot butterscotch, golden syrup and caramel upfront turning to dried apricot before the lasting lemon pith finish.

Can pour from The Liquor Junction, Reading. Opaque, dark brown with ring of head and trace lacing. Aroma is strong roasted peanuts, hazelnut, milder cacao. Taste is strong roasted nut (bordering on burnt, burnt French peanut?, hazelnut) and milder cacao. Smooth texture, medium bodied, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Nut is a bit burnt in flavor and somewhat confusing peanut vs. hazelnut but still enjoyable.

16 oz can in a trade tfontana, ty Tom. Aroma is soft chocolate with hazelnut. Flavor is more Nutella than it is Reeseβs peanut butter cup. Mouthfeel is decent for a porter. I get more cacao nib than I get anything else.

16 oz can. Thank you TJ. Aroma and flavor are crackers malt, soft minerals and a weak herb in the finish. It is ok.

Undated can shared by TJ on 10/20/24. Golden-brass. Clear. Small, white head quickly to ring. Apple and biscuit with mild herb. Pretty clean. Thick dough and biscuit. Very bready, moderately apple-y. Bit too thick and kind of a bland, crackery flavor with muddled herb.

16 oz can. Thank you TJ! Aroma has pineapple, and more pineapple. The flavor is mostly pineapples and soft bread malt. It is mostly pineapple throughout. A lot of pineapple puree going on here.

Undated can drunk 10/19/24, thanks TJ. Moderately hazy blonde-brass. Small, white head. Pineapple puree, mineral and cracker. White bread, light pine. Bit of blandness. Juicy, acidic, dry, big pineapple but blending malt and yeast. Watery finish. I don't love the yeast. Malt is comforting at least. But there's something I can't put my finger on about this beer that rubs me the wrong way.
