Draught @ Tapster-Lincoln Park, Chicago (Aug 2023). Cloudy dark yellow with a small frothy off-white head, citrus aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter citrus peel-pineapple taste, faint mint, apricot flavor, thin body, long citrusy finish. Good flavors.

Lots of peach brandy upfront nose and flavor wise. And a nice chocolatey hinted mid and finish while still crisp! Guinness with sweet peaches was the vibe.

16oz can pours a nearly opaque deep brown with some Grey head that faded and some light legs. Nose has dark malts, caramel, coffee, roasted nuts. Really nice and inviting. Flavor is great and the malt is absolutely the backbone that everything comes off of. Full bodied, nearly dry finish. Crazy easy to drink. 8 3 8 5 15

Still swimming in rye whiskey 3 years later. Medium light body but tons of tasty rye whiskey chocolate and spice notes wrapped in vanilla.

Gnarly honey cocoa vanilla barrel notes from this blend. Not too thick but definitely a lingering sweet finish.

8 ounce at the Congress Park location - turbid purple - looks almost still - no carbonation to speak of in the mouth, but full-bodied and slick - lots of treacly British barley wine character, dark fruit, cookie dough, date, raisin - moderate oxidation and a light acidity on the tail end the temper the treacly sweetness, adding a slight balsamic note - the barrel is hard to detect, but there is a slight vanilla-y bourbon note and mild oak - overall a nice traditional take that is balanced for it's strength.

Straight barrel aged ice cream, the vanilla and pistachio in this are insanely good. Thick creamy barrel with tons of milky notes without any lactose! Magical BA ice cream. Sorry Gino!
