Fra cask på GBBF aug-23, delt med Steven: klar løys gylden med utmerket skum helt ned. Lett krydret aroma og smak med gress/høy, engelsk appelsinmarmelade, muligens et par stikkelsbær og noen skogaktige toner. Mild bitterhet, og fruktig avslutning med mersmak.

440ml can from the brewery. Poured a slightly hazy yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a crisp, fresh, malt, lemon citrus, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Improved greatly after it got a little air.

(Cask at White Horse, Parson's Green, London, 27 Nov 2022) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of black coffee, dark chocolate and liquorice. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, chocolate, roasted oatmeal, liquorice and a balanced coffee bitterness. Medium body, dry. Tasty and well made, with coffee, chocolate and a soft toasty oatmeal character. Very nice.

(Cask at White Horse, Parson's Green, London, 27 Nov 2022) Dark amber colour with frothy, tan head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, dried fruit, apricots and toast. Malty taste with caramel, toast, dark bread, prunes, dried apricots and a mild earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced bitter. Nice one.
