Bottle at the cotteridge convention bottle share. A hazed brown coloured pour with a fading beige cap. Aroma is semi sweet, nutty, earthy hazelnut, vanilla, cakey, white raisin. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty, brown sugars, brown bread, white raisin. Woody. Palate is semi sweet, tannin, mellow carbonation. Ok.

Appearance is clear amber, with a 2-3 beige foamy head which settles. Aroma is malt, hints of juicy fruit, melon, orange. Taste is juicy fruit, orange, marmalade, malt. Citrus hints.

On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours almost black with a medium sized frothy beige head and high carbonation. The aroma has oats and chocolate flakes. In the mouth there are roast malts, cola and milky coffee. After a while various other traces start to appear – summer fruits, oats, chocolate – not all at the same time though ! Finish is slightly fruity. Not bad at all.
