33cl bottle. Pours very dark orange/black colour with a huge most good lasting tan head. aroma of dark roasted malt, burned coffee and peat. Taste of peat, dark roasted malt, coffee, vanilla, chocolate, bitter roasted coffee beans.

Donker roodbruin bier met veel stevig schuim. Smaak is bijzonder, bitter, rook en een niet te definiëren bijsmaak die niet echt lekker is. Jammer van zo’n mooi bier.

Oranjebruin bier met stevig schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig met iets van ananas, thee, en abrikoos. Blijft lang hangen.

Bottle @ home. Opaque pitch black color, medium to full sized brown head that lasts for a decent while and leaves fair lacing. Aroma is malts, dark malts, roast and heavy coffee. Taste malts, heavy coffee, slightly a hint of sweetish and yet bitter coffee as well, malt bitter and bitter finish. Medium body, suitable moderate carbonation. Quite nice. It seems that this brewery - as I haven’t had a new beer from them in a long time- takes its time to present a new beer, which appears to be a good thing as this beer is definitely quite nice and quite well brewed. Well done.
