Keg at the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester. Impenetrable yellow gold, with a small white head. Light stone fruit and melon character, perhaps a bit of seawater. Complex aroma with lots of melon sweetness combined with a light tempering savouriness. Long bittersweet finish. Medium carbonation. Lovely.

Keg at Heidrun, HW, 20/11/21. Fruit smoothie orange with a moderate white cap that clears to spotting. Nose is sharp tropical fruits, pine needle, bitter orange, grass. Taste comprises grapefruit, pine needle, bitter orange, sharp tropical overlay, ripe melon, weed, modest sabro interplay. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close spiked with lightly aggressive juicy come grassy hop bitterness. Decent.

Can from The Beer Cave. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of melon, starfruit and salted orange. Flavour of melon and overripe pear. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Soft and fruity. An excellent IPA.

Keg at The Plasterers Arms, Norwich, Norfolk. A milky yellow coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, coconut, orange, lemon, tropical fruit aroma, taste is similar, lovely fresh tasting sabro pale ale, full of flavour.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Hazy golden body with a thick white head. Lively carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of candyfloss, mango and straw. Flavour of peach, lychee and lemongrass. Medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Light fizz. This has loads of flavour yet somehow manages to remain delicate. Truly delicious.

Bottle thanks to Kenny. It pours clear greenish - yellow with a small white head. The aroma is fresh, bright, zingy, juicy, jammy, sherbet, apple cider, oak, toffee apple, sour candy, custard apple and white grape. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, minerality, zingy, apple, custard apple, lemon sherbet, clean, refreshing quenching, soft, apple skin, lime, must, gooseberry, peat vibes and melon with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Super crisp, quenching and moreish.
