Cask at the Craven Arms, Birmingham. Poured a clear chesnut brown with a bubbly white head. The aroma is malty, but a little weak. The flavour is medium to strong bitter, malty and with an aromatic hoppiness on the palate. The bitterness was a bit of a shock with the first mouthful, but it grew on me the more I drank.
