On tap at Embolden, pours lack with a small tan head. Aroma has plenty of raspberries upfront, with light cocoa and a tiny trace of the brandy barrels. Flavour has plenty of raspberries, subtle brandy, and a bunch of dark sugars. Thin malt base with little depth. Not much going on here despite the barrels and adjuncts. Nothing offensive, just surprisingly uneventful.

On tap at Embolden, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma has a mix of cocoa, marshmallow and graham crackers in decent balance. Flavour is quite malty, with dry cocoa, a little marshmallow, and gentle sugars. Malty, chocolatey and dry. Not particularly complex but it's solid enough.

On tap at Embolden, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of mango, some spiciness, and peach. Flavour is spicy and fruity, with a light maltiness, spicy pepper, peach juice, and a little mango. Not a disaster but it's profoundly uninteresting.

On tap at Embolden, pours a clear pale golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is dank as hell, with dank hops, tanginess, and melon-y notes from the Mosaic. Flavour has tons of tangy hops, white wine tang, some melon-y notes, and just enough crisp malt to back. Really great expression of the Nelson and Mosaic. Excellent.

Can pour at Splashes bar, Surf and Sand resort. Lightly hazy pale yellow with light sparkle, thin cap of head with pour retention and nice lacing. Aroma is strong pale malts. Taste follows aroma. Smooth texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Standard blonde ale with good strength.

On tap at Angel's Trumpet, pours a clear pale golden with a small white bead. Aroma brings out sweaty, piney hops, with a crisp biscuity malt base. Flavour is crisp and bitter, with plenty of piney hops, some earthy sweaty hops, and crisp biscuity malt. Not in the best shape — too sweaty (is this old?) — but the beer structure is good.

16oz can at my daughters place in Laguna Hills on a very hot Monday afternoon; 24th July 2023. Snow White blanket of foam on a bright golden body, straw blonde/golden in fact. Went very well with a ham & lettuce sandwich made with artisan Olive and Tyme bread. Refreshing and a nice blend of sweet maltiness and mild hop bitterness.

16oz can in the afternoon of a very hot 11th July 2023 in Laguna Hills. The can came from Trader Joe's. Pale golden body, slight haze, wispy white collar for instead of a head. Rice/grainy aroma, no real taste, sea salt maybe. I've had a few Mexican Lagers and this isn't as good as most (and they were not very good either). OK it's refreshing and idea for drinking when coming out of the pool but it's not something I will ever buy again. Nice art work on the can, but that doesn't get you a hight score.
