Brown bottle, 660 ml, shared with Luc Bourbonnière (merci!); eye: caramel, hazy, thick, no effervescence, sheet of beige-tan head; nose: lots of hops, grapefruit, citrusy, light caramel malt, light sugar, pine; mouth: start all in hops, grapefruits, slight caramel malt, pine, short finale all in hops, rather bitter, slightly sweet, good carbonation, medium-full body FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, 660 ml, partagé avec Luc Bourbonnière (merci!); œil : caramel, voilée, épaisse, pas d’effervescence, couverture de mousse beige fauve; nez : beaucoup de houblon, pamplemousse, citrique, léger malt caramel, léger sucre, pin; bouche : entrée très amère, pamplemousse, très léger malt caramel, pin, finale courte tout en houblon, plutôt amère, très légèrement sucrée, bonne carbonatation, corps moyen-corsé

A deep dark poter with a thick lacing moka head. Nice roasted malts and chocolate aroma, with molasses, and dark fruits. In mouth, a nice soothing and silky chocolate with discreet roasted character, woody, bitter, and coffee grounds. Rich and complex porter. Bottle from Piscator32, thanks Kris.

A light blonde ale with a thick frothy white head. A very lemony malt and hops aroma, light sulfur note. In mouth, an interesting light malt with very herbal hops, one of the lightest Half Pints tasted too date. Quaffer. Bottle from Psicator32, thanks Kris.

A hzy golden amber pils with a thick creamy and lacing white head. Lightly bready malt with nice notes of Saaz hops, some metal notes. In mouth, a good crisp malt with lightly resinous hops, a bit of grapefruits, more British like hops. Overall, quite nice, given I’m a hophead. Medium bodied.Bottle from Piscator32, thanks Kris!

A dark reddish brown scotch ale with a thin light moka head. Aroma of Nestle Quick powdered chocolate, dark fruits treacle, lightly vinous. In mouth, an oily sweet caramel toffee, light and pleasing, burned sugars, woody notes. Very nice if rather light bodied scotch ale. Bottle from Piscator32, thanks Kris!

Bouteille 660ml, courtoisie de Blankboy. De couleur brune-ambrée et voilée. Nez de grains de céréales sucrées, moyen de levures fruitées (léger de raisins et d’agrumes) léger de caramel toffee sucré, de houblon herbeux avec des notes de biscuits au miel. Moyennement ronde en bouche avec un pétillement moyen-bas et une texture aux notes crémeuses et sirupeuses. Léger goût de levures fruitées (petites notes de raisins rouges et d’agrumes, faibles traces de bananes) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un goût de grains de malt sucrés aux petites notes rôties et terreuses, un léger goût de caramel toffee sucré avec des notes de biscuits puis en finale l’on retrouve une très légère amertume de houblon herbeux (herbes mouillées, traces de gazon et de thé) ainsi que des notes de levures épicées (poivre très doux) et de noix. Post-goût moyen et aux notes sèches, légèrement amer de houblon herbeux avec un léger goût fruité (zest d’agrumes) avec des traces de noix.

Bottled at RBJG. Clear deep amber, brief head. Piney caramel that lasts from nose and on. Near full bodied with lots of toffee and sparkling treacle. Salty finish. Intensive sweetness takes the edge of it for now, would probably do well with some time in the cellar.

Bottle at the RBJG. Rich toffee sweetness, strong alcohol burn. Some hops noticeable as well. Very rich, semi-complex malts, ok fruitiness, but a bit too sweet.

A hazy golden ale with a thick off white head. A pleasant sweetish hops aroma, pinhey and bready. In mouth, a weel balanced IPA, rich, pinhey a bit of caramel notes, and a bit short in mouth. Still, a good beer. Thanks to Piscator32.

Bouteille 660ml, courtoisie de Blankboy. De couleur dorée et voilée. Nez de levures fruitées (citron, léger de bananes) et épicées (coriandre, moyen de clou de girofle), de blé et avec des traces de gomme balloune. Mince-moyenne en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et légèrement croustillante ainsi qu’une texture moyennement crémeuse et aux petites notes aqueuses. Goût de levures fruitées (citron, léger-moyen de bananes) accompagné d’un goût épicé (coirandre, notes de clou de girofle) et de traces de gomme balloune lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un goût de blé légèrement asséchant avec des petites notes de pain puis en finale l’on retrouve une légère amertume de houblon herbeux avec des traces de levures épicées (poivre doux). Post-goût moyen, aux notes sèches de blé, avec un goût de levures fruitées (zest d’agrumes, notes de pelures de bananes) et très légèrement amer de houblon herbeux.
