Hazy orange-amber color; generous head. Nice hoppy aroma, mild but with all the qualities: resiny, fruity, a bit sweaty; also a clear English hops footprint (?) and light apples. Dry toffee flavor, strong bitterness, even a bit harsh, and a bit yeasty; pleasant, moderate sweetness in the end. Good.

Hazy light amber color; thin head. The aroma is hoppy and partially fruity. The body is thin, not enough malty, with a strong bitterness, resiny, partially aromatic.

Deep amber color. Faint hops in the nose with hints of apricot as well as an ever present crystal malt. Malty smooth mouth with same apricot flavor. Mildly bitter finish. Not bad, but nothing too exciting.

Dark brown color, thick white head. Malty, chocolatey, slightly sour nose. Very chocolatey malty mouth. Slightly sour. Bordering on a porter at this point. Chocolately, malty dry finish with a hint of nuttiness.

Hazy light amber liquid with thin head and gentle carbonation. Quite English in the aroma with crisp woody and herbal hop, light toast & caramel malt plus peachy, almost cantaloupy esters. The esters are prominent in the palate as well. The malts are sweet but bright, the hops moderate but with a mild flowery/foresty note that complements the rest of the beer quite well. Subtle, enjoyable brew.

very dark brown, fruity, light, way too yeasty w a dash of nail polish. Not much complexity and the balance isn’t for me.

Cloudy amber with a loose head. Rich herbal, foresty hop aroma with light pale & toasty malt backdrop. Oh yeah. Fresh, foresty hop character laid over a toasty, breadcrusty malt backbone. It’s a simple but effective formula....highly quaffable.

Very dark brown colour. Thin head. Aroma has big coffee with light nuts and dark chocolate. Somewhat thin at the front with dominant coffee. But just when I feel the coffee fading to vegetal harshness, a dose of milk chocolate malts come in to round everything out and (along with a light oiliness) fill out the body. Unfortunately, over the course of a bomber these high points are fleeting and the thin, immature coffee-dominated character keeps coming through.

Dark amber-brown colour with finger of foam. The aroma is toasty, slightly nutty, slightly dusty. Lightly toasty taste, but it’s kind of thin...lacking richness. There’s a bit of woody, nutty, even chocolatey character. Fairly dry finish. Reasonably clean. Nice complexity to the malts, but it needs more sugars to fill out the profile and body.
