Bottle shared at the craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. Many thanks. A clear dark brown black coloured pour with a a fading halo of tan head. Aroma is semi sweet, cinnamon light smoke, brown sugars, berries, some harsh alcohol. Palate is semi sweet, oily, light spicy, oak. Interesting. Little rough round the edges.

Bottle at CBJ tasting, thanks to Tips. Near clear dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Airy palate, decent fine carbonation. Very light for the style. Light tangy dark malts, a little creamy dark malt. Whiskey dark fruits, whisper of peat. Airy light finish. A bit airy and very slightly wishy washy.

Rich and toothy, sweet and thick but not cloying, some ashy roast, aged dark fruits, burnt toffee, plum, chocolate. Rather enjoyable.

Can. Pours opaque yellowish with foamy head. Nose is citrusy, tart, spicy. Taste is sour first, then come the citrusy notes and closes with a moderately spicy, somewhat tart finish. Light bodied with average carbonation, easy to drink. Pleasant and refreshing.

Can. Copperish-orangeish pour with white head. Nose is sweet floral, with a lactose touch. Taste is none to low bitterness, floral and slight fruity notes, lactose again. Short sweet finish, light body, average carbonation. Refreshing, but no big deal.
